It turned out to be a dark and stormy night for sukkah decorating-after the storm moved the sukkah about 10 feet from where we built it...but wow did it make this Ema grateful for shelter! Especially when the power came back on before bedtime! Little Zekeman got all into the decorating, now that he's becoming a super jew (thanks CJDS!) and could differentiate the aravim from the hadas and tell me all about it! He decided to make one of his installations right at ground level-for obvious reasons-and went to town with ribbon, beads, and anything else he could find. Scarlett found a red paper apple and went inside to make a bumblebee and hive to go with it. Georgia was at Nana and Papa's decorating their sukkah which we'll get to see tonight, and I kept channeling Parliament Funkadelic and humming "put the roof on the sukkah, put the roof on the mother sukkah..."
